Leah Atchison is a thirty-something marketing consultant in Portland, Oregon pursuing her dream of being a published author. Employed as a technical writer, Leah decided to branch out and write about subjects that move her. ABCs OF SURVIVING DIVORCE: IMPORTANT TIPS FOR PARENTS, TEENS & CHILDREN is her first project but by no means her last book. She is currently working on a Christian book and has other ideas she plans to put to paper.

An Oregon transplant, Leah attended Western Oregon State College and Oregon State University before transferring to Montana State University in Bozeman. There, she graduated in 1995 with a bachelor's degree in film/motion picture. Following commencement, she packed her bags and headed for Hollywood. While successful, she realized that writing was her true calling, and she returned to Portland in 1997 to work in the city she loves.
